All of our soaps have a 5% superfat. That means they have a small amount of additional oil in each bar of soap that adds extra moisturizing qualities to the soap. This little added kick increases the emollient properties in each of our bars.

When using Egyptian Chamomile, we start with a pile of dried Egyptian Chamomile leaves and then infuse them with the olive oils used for each bar for over 24 hours at 100 degrees. This ingredient soothes irritated skin, calms inflammation in sensitive areas, and speeds up the healing process of burns, scars, and breakouts. Egyptian Chamomile has a very light, silky texture and relaxing scent.
Made from aged volcanic ash and mined from the earth- This ingredient aids in detoxifying skin, and is great for reducing allergic reactions to skin care products. Bentonite Clay has a strong magnetic charge, when combined with water it is known to pull out toxins and heavy metals and any built up impurities or chemicals from the skin, while increasing important minerals needed for our skin to flourish. Bentonite clay is a grey colored clay that is odorless, non staining, and smooth.
Olive oil gives a clean buttery feel to each bar of soap, providing a moisturizing effect and plenty of antioxidant properties. Olive oil helps reduce fine lines and slows down aging in skin without clogging pores or feeling greasy. Olive oil also can be used as a safe and gentle makeup remover.
A finely ground ancient grain chock full of protein, vitamins, minerals and lipids. This ingredient relieves skin inflammation, irritation and itching, while aiding in various skin treatments. Since Colloidal Oatmeal is a powder, it gently cleans without adding any harsh exfoliants.
Derived from the nut of the Karite Tree found in Western Africa, this ingredient is rich in fatty acids and vitamins- including Vitamins A and E, and Cinnamic Acid- which adds an SPF value of 6. Shea butter is known to help the skin retain moisture, and has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Did you know? In ancient times, folks used Shea butter to naturally protect their skin from sun damage.
